The troubling problem is that certain age groups watch that crap and take it for gospel.

Young Get News From Comedy Central - CBS News

"A poll released earlier this year by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press found that 21 percent of people aged 18 to 29 cited "The Daily Show" and "Saturday Night Live" as a place where they regularly learned presidential campaign news."

Whistling past the graveyard?

Do you really think that Plouffe and Axlerod are unconcerned about the messaging that +20% of one of their most important and vital demographic constituencies is receiving?

Obama according to virtually all the polling the trend lines are downward in every single demographic constituency across the board. There is a recent report from RealClear Politics that for the first time declares that there is mounting evidence Obama has lost the one constituency without which he can not win, white voters!

I'm sure they are very concerned. I also don't have a big problem with people getting some of their news from Stewart's comedy show. It's not as if they will get the full picture from "real" news shows. All they do is spout conventional "wisdom."

Stewart does good interviews.
