They didn't when Bush used it, why would they now?

I think the real fun will be in November when B.O. runs the risk of losing. As the time gets closer to the election, will all the community activists and community organizers be able to muster all the folks who normally never vote, except when they thought they were getting a free handout? Although there have been plenty of freebies and handouts, but nothing like the land of milk and honey anticipated. That is going to be entertaining. I cannot wait. The end of an error ?

So we know what we're talking about Larry, please tell us what you mean by "B.O. zealouts[sic]"

From a fellow 300E 5-speed owner, thanks for the welcome! I think my first post was to your thread about your car!

Yes it does seems like the faithful are becoming unhinged as their world crumbles before their eyes! The reality being that their Emperor is being revealed to be completely naked is understandably difficult to accept.

That a number of posters are reduced to squealing about their mis-interpretation as literal what should have been recognised as an obvious pasquinade, only demonstrates how futile their cause has become.

But then again these are the same folks who where absolutely certain that with Candidate Obama's nomination "generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth"

Don't have anything to offer about Stewart's commentary regarding the absurdity of President Obama's Executive Privilege Claim, then?

I quess in the future I'll have to include some sort of notice or disclaimer when employing satire to hopefully avoid any similar type of hysterical response to poetic license all at the expense of substantative discourse.

Whistling past the graveyard?

Do you really think that Plouffe and Axlerod are unconcerned about the messaging that +20% of one of their most important and vital demographic constituencies is receiving?

Obama according to virtually all the polling the trend lines are downward in every single demographic constituency across the board. There is a recent report from RealClear Politics that for the first time declares that there is mounting evidence Obama has lost the one constituency without which he can not win, white voters!

He's doing pretty good, can you send him any gifts you were considering buying instead of a cash campaign contribution?
My Grandmother has sent in a set of cast iron frying pans that are well seasoned. How about you?

Poor Barack is seeing the terrible retribution of that political ruling he dissed SCOTUS over.

I honestly don't know and/or dont care about what Jon Stewart said about anything. I just found your argument amusing, and wished to make fun of it. Thank you and have a nice day!

You know it is bad when one of the preeminent propaganda organs no longer has the moral or intellectual capacity to propagate the Obama lie du jour in the face of reality. Not a fan of Stewart but I've got to give this blind squirrel props for finding that nut! Too bad he strays from what is important by later in his piece by raising the faux "hypocricy" meme.
If you have watched 'The Daily Show' for more than just a few times you would know that Stewart pokes jabs at Obama on a regular basis. That you seem to think this is something new shows you are not a fan of the show.

And the 'If I've lost....' is just a myth that is based on something LBJ is supposed to have said.

And it seems you have watched so much Fox News that the line between news and entertainment has blurred for you. Comedy Central prides itself on being a fake news outlet and they make this claim on a regular basis. If you ever watched 'The Daily Show' you would know this.

I can, however, recommend a program called 'The Cobert Report'. Hard hitting news and factual commentary four nights a week. Check it out!

By the way.... I love watching clueless right wingers get all giddy over the latest 'find' that they just know is going to destroy Obama. Kind of funny and sad at the same time. Like the time Stewart interviewed some lady that was a GOP spokesperson and had her fumbling all over herself. Sadly, the GOP fired her the next day. I guess they did not like looking silly on a fake news program, and even Stewart said he never thought that would take place.

Oh, and, uh.... Killer? I don't know where you have been posting but the majority of the posters here are University educated and can see through an old joke rather quickly. Therefore I suggest you get some new material and quit trying to pass off comments of doom that were old 40 years ago.

And did you know that the latest Bloomberg Poll has Obama up over Romney by 14 points?

Hey Pooki, how do you know what anybody watches or doesn't watch?

Newsflash Bloomberg's poll on Obama vs. Romney as well as the other one showing support for Obamacare have been panned as outliers completely at odds with numerous polls and all trending, but I'm waiting for the big poll in November but the handwriting is all over the wall, the will be a one term loser.

I'm sure they are very concerned. I also don't have a big problem with people getting some of their news from Stewart's comedy show. It's not as if they will get the full picture from "real" news shows. All they do is spout conventional "wisdom."

Stewart does good interviews.

I must have missed THAT poll. Is that true? Not trying to be funny.
