From what I was told, this was a factory thing and might not have done a lot of them, (not sure if this is correct, but what I was told) this truck has a Detroit Diesel in it, and Factory AC. I diddnt get any pictures inside it, but it seemed to be all there. This was in a whole line of cars I took pictures of, This was the most interesting as well as an old Chrysler Desoto.

The Apache panel trucks were actually quite common in those days. They were almost always in commercial use so they got worn out and scrapped pretty early. There was a TV series called Rescue 8, ca. 1959. It was about hero's attached to the Fire Department that had a panel truck full of ropes and climbing gear and all sort so life saving equipment that went around being heroes every week. Maybe that's their panel truck.
