They were almost always in commercial use so they got worn out and scrapped pretty early. There was a TV series called Rescue 8, ca. 1959. It was about hero's attached to the Fire Department that had a panel truck full of ropes and climbing gear and all sort so life saving equipment that went around being heroes every week. Maybe that's their panel truck.

Apache 3100 is a light duty truck, so most likely it is about as factory as the 427 I had in mine in the '70s... ![]() |
