I was granted a CC permit on my first application when I was 21. At the time in PA (early 90's) you had to check a box for a reason. hunting, personal protection, job, etc. I checked them all and sent the permit in.

To carry the weapon in a concealed manner to and from the range, they issue a "range permit". It gets around the problem of transporting the weapon off your own private property.
You are obligated to take it directly to and from the range without any intermediate stops. How rigidly such a clause is regulated is the question. |
