Guess what, cowboy?

YOU KNOW nothing...

Throughout all that, I never denied that you were technically correct and that I probably owed the $450 fees. I was perturbed at HOW badly the dealer handled it.

And after a long sit down at the dealership, the other day, it was explained HOW they messed up by their own DMV clerks, and that they had messed up foillowng those rules of the CA DMV regarding license renewals, by one week, when they are not due at the time of sale to the customer, and that it was the first time in 3 years, it had happened according to the dealership's DMV clerks.

And that I was a great and longtime loyal customer.

The outcome was that I paid immediately. Furthermore I was told that in future if ANYTHING was amiss or troubling to me, that they would absolutely go the extra mile in future to keep me a satisfied and happy customer.

Furthermore, I put them to the test right then and there, I left the car with them for the big 30k service.

The bill which I paid for the 30k FSS at the end of the day was HEAVILY discounted, and even the actual service tech who worked on the car, left a note of thanks, AND I was provided at no cost, a brand spanking new 2013 C250- Sport to use for the day.

All is good,

And in fact, I've been told to bring in the car anytime I want for a free wash...that sounds like goodwill right there.

So much for YOUR hateful ASSumptions - and vitriol.

You can bet if I - or likely any - Mercedes Benz patron - encountered such a spiteful, supercilious, arrogant and dismissive manner a YOURS in a customer service position, your job tenure would likely end within hours.

You sure have a lot of vitriol and venom in your heart. Excuse me, it's showing.. it must be horrible to live in your world, Brain Carlton;

If you should choke on all that bile and bitterness and perish of it, tell you what:

We'll pay for the flowers out of petty cash...

I am surprsed you didn't get canned here from your job as moderator sooner than you did.

You need to get over yourself.

Who, exactly would "we" be?

You, clearly, don't have any money because you tried to ripoff the dealership for $450, but finally capitulated when the forum refused to agree with you.

Maybe you have some friends that would pay? Somehow, I doubt it.

You're a person without any integrity and most people will gravitate away from you unless, like the women in your life, they see a checkbook (apparently, long gone).

Well let's see - new 2011 Mercedes / decent new home in a gated community / '95 e420 / '91 560 SEC AMG / all of it paid off /good income stream / no debts / savings are fine /

What *YOU" got, hot shot - other than an '84 Mercedes, an overflow of sour grapes, a quintessential NY bad attitude, and ad hominem shots galore?

Hate to say it, but I'll take a NY 'tude over Californian passive aggression any day Secondly, a box of ticky-tacky with a rent-a-pig out front doesn't gain you any brownie points in my book. Nor does a MENSA #.

Hmmm,
It appears that the "Oh great one" has found some one else to pick on !!
He gets a bee in his bonnet & off he goes. There are already too many dictators in the world, we dont need another.
Like me Jim, you have distance on your side.

That's probably BS considering you tried to ripoff the M/B dealer for a measly $450.

Who would do that if they had a "good income stream" and "no debts"??
