You know I thought Rudy's was pretty good, off of I-35 in Round Rock, their moist brisket was awesome. Not a place I'd go out of the way for if you're in downtown, but if passing by, it'd be a good stop.

The 'Enchanted Rock' is a giant hunk of granite that expands with the heat from the sun. When it is cooling at night air is pushed out of millions of cracks in the stone and it sounds like humans moaning or crying.

For the best effect you need to climb to the top of the rock. Take something to lay on for the best results and expect there to be lots of others up there as well.

But if you have the time it is worth the visit. It is a bit of a drive, though, from Austin.
