Love is driving my wife to an antique store that is 150 mile round trip because she wanted to go there.
Love is going back the next day to buy her a $3 trinket because she wanted me to.

Love is my wife traveling almost 800 mile round trip to go to a Mercedes car show even though she was VERY ILL and showed the best face that she could.

Love is my Lord listening to a DRUNKARDS prayer when my wife was very ill, and him answering my prayers. Praise Jesus.

For today's example, love for me will be leaving the office, going to the florist and the card shop and then getting to my wifes office to deliver all this and take her to dinner INSTEAD OF, taking advantage of the best flying weather I've seen in several weeks.

That is more of a worldly example. It has no match for the love that Jesus showed by enduring a horrible torture and death in exchange for our souls.
