And one more thing...

What kind of person comes into a Mercedes forum and says this,

"Currently overseas, so all I have at the moment is a photoshop picture of what my car will look like in the near future."

SNIBBLE THAT'S WHO! LOL!

All I have at the moment is a photoshop picture of what my car will look like in the near future?! LOL! What kind of lame crap is that!

Just look at Snibbles PeachParts MercedesShop Photo Gallery!

1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL - Snibble’s Photo Gallery - PeachParts Mercedes ShopForum

Well there's another screen shot for the history books! LOL!

This guy Snibble is too much! My side is hurting from laughing so hard!

"Res Ipsa Loquitor".

Thank you Cascade! I am going to use that in a pending case I am litigating!

I am not even kidding! No sarcasm! THANK YOU!

For a horney old codger you're not too bad. I needed this!

I just hope it doesn’t turn out to be the equivalent of cutting off my power steering belts and then later finding out they ran my water pump. LOL!

I find myself in much the same situation as you were while cruising the grapevine. I don’t know what the hell I’m doing but I’m in a jam and I’m going to give it my best damn shot! Even if that means looking like a complete fool!

If it all goes bad, well then at least I can blame you! LOL!

Then come to find out you were parting out your POS W126 in your parent’s driveway, and trying to sell for outrageous prices used and worn out parts to members of the BW community!
Last I heard you were a Dentist (and not a very good one). What the hell makes you think you know more than a fully certified mechanic? Do people pay you to fix their cars or do they pay you to fix their teeth? It's no secret that Doctors do not take care of their vehicles and in your case this would hold especially true.
Please POST THE LINK, someone - anyone!

There are another few episodes of Bottom Gear in this posting alone!
"The Case of the Cross Threaded Spark Plug Hole."
and
"The Dentist Parting Out a Mercedes in Mom's Driveway."

I must say that it's not difficult to cross thread a spark plug hole, it's damn near impossible, unless one uses something like a 1/2 inch impact wrench. I mean doesn't one feel that it's not going in properly ???!!! Unless Mercedes have gone to interference fit spark plugs that is...

And the Dentist selling worn out parts has endless possibilities, perhaps recycling used extractions, or maybe saving them up for a set au natural dentures to replace the Star hood ornament?
"Get your power steering pump AND your lowers rebuilt for one low price."
"Missing teeth or parts, we can help!"
"We extract ANYTHING but spark plugs."
"Forget Loctite, we use Polydent, grips even in the wet."
Instead of the old saying "Pedal to the Metal", it could be "Teeth to the Wheel."
The list is endless. I was planning on driving the 356 today (it's international "Drive Your 356 Day") in honor of Dr. Porsche Birthday but this has me sidetracked.
I don't even want to touch on the Polish angle.... but I will....

Allow me to correct you on this part. The 560 and 190 were purchased after I received my cut on a global meth ring I helped start up. My parents were not involved in the purchase of my cars and we've had a fall-out after I was exposed in being part of this ring. The whole dental nonsense thing was just a cover up to buy time until I was released after being busted. Once I was out, I sold my story to some gentleman named Mr. Gilligan who loosely based his TV series on my story.

Really? Care to post a link to this circle jerk?

Really? Care to post a link to substantiate these claims? Or are you just making stuff up once more? Don't flatter yourself kid! Who the HELL would EVER want to pretend to be you!?

Disgruntled by what? You misinformation as it pertains to the service and repair of Mercedes Benz? Calling you out almost every day for misleading people with your amateur mechanic skills stripping out spark plug holes while trying to replace the plugs on your 560?

No...No... You want to say it's because I spoke up about your posting parts for sale while giving others a hard time for doing the exact same thing. Then come to find out you were parting out your POS W126 in your parent’s driveway, and trying to sell for outrageous prices used and worn out parts to members of the BW community!

Whats your problem? - Auto-Trend Repairs and Service Information Forums

Who is attacking who here? Did I mention your name prior to this post? No! So it's clear that what you say and what really happened are two different things. Attacking someone and pointing out that they are full of it are two different things. You seen it as an attack because it made you look ignorant, which you were. It's a fact you are no mechanic and you lack the credentials to even get in a discussion about cars let alone W126's.

Yet for some reason.... HERE YOU ARE! Do you even bother to read the stuff you write? I doubt it.

Yeah it would be ideal except for the fact you started something you can’t finish and here you are trying to dig yourself out of that hole.

Must be a real kick in the pants to know that you and a few other idiots are responsible for the demise of a once was great forum. Where is all the talent on BenzWorld.org? Anymore BenzWorld.org has turned into a giant car review forum where as countless wannabe Mercedes owners get together to rip on other W126's for sale on eBay or Craigslist because many of you lack the $$$ to buy them.

Snibble, for a Dr. you aren’t very smart. Maybe you should work on that instead of wasting time in car forums? I hope you know more about dentistry than cars.
Good morning Phil!

LMAO, good ones!

Regarding the links, I found the thread he's referring to from 7 years back:
Damn spark plugs - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum
As to how that ended, luckily it wasn't cross threaded as I initially thought and got the plug seated. Why update to have one less thing for Rex to talk about for years?

LOL!

Hey Snibble! You are supposed to be using the Nitrous in your car! Not sitting in your dentist chair with the regulator turned up to max whilst reading the peachparts.com web forum!

LOL!

You could have edited it 100 times over by now. Wouldn't put it past you, after all you edit other peoples post to save face so I would imagine it's nothing for you to edit your own post to save face!

Fyi, its more common than you think. I've seen at least 3 cross threaded spark plug situations, all on hard to reach front or rear cylinders with aluminum heads. One was even on my own car in tech school, kid installing plugs while I was draining coolant cross threaded cylinder #4 chewed up the threads pretty bad. Reinstalling a spark plug later is doubly hard then. IMO that's where the most damage happens, people have partially damaged threads already, cannot find the thread, find something that feels like it catches, and tighten it down.

Glow plugs are also a common cross thread.

Actually "Sherry" Schwartz was the creator of Gilligan's Island. You have to break the bad references in this biz otherwise you'll go down to nabbey where there's no money and people will say Doctor, who is that guy I keep hearing all about eve?

Snibble, may I suggest that you forget the Meth angle and concentrate on the "Dentist Parting Out Stuff" way, it's funnier?
Not as funny as cascade's or mcclare's "Runaway Tire and the Pregnant Lady" stuff, but funny none the less. And that's even before we tweak it....
Of course there's the "Stunaad - Confusion" angle where the dentist, high on Nitrous, confuses a M117 with his patient and start's grinding away, but instead of a cavity, he makes an unsuccessful porting job. I could incorporate this into the "How I Spent $55,000 Rebuilding an Engine that Mercedes Would Have Done For $17,000" episodes I bet.
Or maybe our dentist wants to put Nitrous in his car but accidently mixes it with Desoxyn (pharmaceutical methamphetamine) and gives it to his patient who proceeds to run, on foot, the 1/4 mile faster than a $55,000 full cascade modified 560 SEC.
I could make this into a 2-3 part cliffhanger series with some minor work.
This stuff writes itself.
Thanks, and keep 'em coming.
Kind Regards,

Ron

Hmmm, interesting. I think part of the problem occurs when one uses a 1/2 drive socket when a 1/4 is called for.
I guess once the cross threading begins the ONLY way to stop it is to pull the head and put an insert into the plug holes. About 10 times the time and money but it's done right. I have no doubt that a lot of novices do cross thread, and I can understand it, somewhat, in an 18 year old. But from someone who professes to be a "mechanic"...???
I have an old HRG alloy head on my MGA and one of the things I did when rebuilding it was to machine out the spark plug holes and put in Heli-Coils (they weren't actual Heli-Coils but you get the idea).
Perhaps the cross threading comes from not using anti-seize on the threads? Believe it or not, there ARE people, car people, who put steel threaded spark plugs into alloy heads without some sort of lube !!!!
As for glow plug... that's GSXR's domain, he's a hipster diesel guy so he would know....

Kind Regards,

Ron
