You'd have a real tough time making the case that a minor has a right to privacy on a phone provided by and no doubt registered in the name of his father.

Correct, as regards his son. But the other side of the texts has that right, minor or not. And parental rights don't apply to her since Jplinville isn't her father.

BOTH parties to a conversation are required to consent to eavesdropping in PA, so Jplinville might theoretically be guilty of felony wiretapping. PA state law is stricter than most other states or Federal law in that regard.

No one ever got pregnant from texting

Secondly, I'm for availability of birth control/condoms, no ID nor questions asked. Sex will happen. May as well minimize the harm by making bc very available without stigma nor barriers. I'm also very much pro-choice, with or without parental consent in first trimester at least.

Yup, it did all that and more. It's now one of the most fooked up places on the planet. Not as bad as the asshats in the ME but but by western standards, it's falling behind quickly. It's a toss up between politics, churches, and the hard right wingers; ( take your pick ) after that there isn't much more to say..........

I am OK with this also.
But, making them available and getting People to use them is entirely different.

But, unless the Person was raped they had the freedom of choice to say no to having sexual intercourse or to try to use one of the methods you mentioned to prevent Pregnancy.

A major part of abortion issue is that some People that object to abortion object to their Tax Money being used to do them.

I believe the State Favors Abortion because it solves the States problem of have to care for the unwanted Child.

A few People also favor sterilization of People who have too many Babies they cannot take care of or don't want.

Speaking of Hypocrites; many of the People who favor abortion are the same ones who would call a Soldier a Baby Killer.
