Quite the sad distractions from the simple question posed by the OP. Not only sad, but simply misplaced and not so accurate either. If there was a case for bullying, it would be the current majority and their antics. And, once the bully on the block gets shoved back a few times, well that's a different story. And, what is really, really funny is that most of those in that same crowd have such an interesting response to those comment on our illustrious commander in comic relief, or our muslim brothers who become outraged, riot, and kill Americans over silly little movie, and alike. Just seems the overall picture is folks pick their sides and nothing more. If you pick a side, don't feel compelled to bash the other side. That is what Jesus taught so to speak, but then again the current majority doesn't believe in him so it sort of makes sense ...
You know, you are so right. I must apologize. It's not as if Christianity has been anything less than unfair to all other faiths (they have done the same). It s not as if Christianity has ever tried or still tries to force it's self into the public sector. It is not as if Christianity does not try and influence politics and the law to try and ban things that they find offensive but have nothing to do with them. It's not as if they have not or still continue to try and influence how science is taught in public schools.

Play the poor pitiful victim all you want. You made your bed not you can sleep in it. Don't think you can threaten me with eternal punishment and have me roll over and accept it. Don't think you can put up your religious displays on public lands that my tax dollars help fund and have me keep quiet about it. Do not think that you can try and force your religious beliefs into the public school system that my money helps fund and not get any push back.

Cry all you want but be aware that we will not remain quiet any more.

Show me one threat I have made? Please do so. Line them up if you will. Rather, us horrible Christians, and in particular us horrible Roman Catholics simply identify what Jesus said. You can like it or not and you can believe in it or not. I know the Good News in the Gospels show how violent, threatening, et cet., Jesus was. Rather, his message: love God, love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, and so forth. That message and his actions, which exemplify that message, was incredibly violent and threatening ... wasn't it? And, you find it so distasteful that others repeat it today, do you not? And, you find it incredibly distasteful that Jesus said there will be consequences for those who do not believe in that message, do you not? I know what happened to Jesus on earth for spreading that message on that fateful Good Friday. So, no crying, or gnashing of teeth ... and yes, that message from our Savior will be broadcasted from the highest mountain tops no matter what. You can try all you want to bash it, mock it, and even "kill" the Son of God in any symbolic fashion you want, but guess what, that message is alive, spreading, and some day it will be fully vindicated on the Day of Judgement. So, if you do not like that "message", then tough and you will have to deal with it. No one is forcing you to do anything ... heck, you do not even have to listen to it or comment on it, either.

Not if the current results of this poll, along with recent election results represent a trend. I think the highly religious types have realized they are no longer the mainstream and are freaking out about it. Unfortunately, they seem to have effectively taken over the Republican party, much to the party's detriment, which is something Sen. Goldwater warned us about many years ago. I'm curious if the current Republican decline will result in the emergence of a new major party.

Given the COTUS was drafted based on Jewish and Christian principles, it's the only way it would be safe. It's you and your liberal friends that want to see it thrown out the window.

The 'you' in regards to being forced was a generic one not a specific one. Sorry for the confusion.

You can repeat it as often was you like. I do not care because I do not believe in any of it. Have no interest in bashing mocking or killing it. All I want is for it to be kept out of the public domain. When the message, what ever that is starts to infringe on my rights you can be dam sure I will not 'deal' with it. I will fight it tooth and nail. Not sure how your message is spreading but I believe we are now up to 10 states that allow same sex marriages.

Religious beliefs are being forced on people in the public domain every day. We are starting to push back.
