Yup. I thought they were softspoken cool til I drove one. Not impressive. No room. I had a '74 Volvo 144 in the mid 80s and that was a decent car.

Lexus SC400...
...when they were first introduced, I was a young 30-something professional, and I saw that car as an "I've arrived" kind of car...long before I looked at MBs, which I considered unobtainable. Picked up a pretty thrashed 94 a few years ago. It was surprisingly reliable, but the age and neglect on that car left a bad taste in my mouth. ![]() Wife HATED that car, and was overjoyed when my daughter borrowed it one night and bent the axle spinning it out and bouncing off a curb. ![]() Insurance totalled it, so the Bimmer replaced it a few months later...
