That is true, I have an appointment with my family doctor next week, I will ask him then.

Also, there seems to be a LOT less clutter in my head since this episode.

Good plan. Like I said, Aphasia is a symptom. If I were you I'd want more explanation than that. Saying "you have Aphasia" is about the same as a mechanic telling you "they all do that."

This is interesting, I was talking to the guy who use to run the car lot next door
for many years, and he told me that he had to retire because of health reasons.
His medical problems was indentical to the problems I had the other week. I think it's time to check into this.

Finally we are getting somewhere. The Docs did a sleep test on me last night. About 8:30 I arrived at the facility and they hooked all of the wires up asked me some questions and off to sleep I went. Somewhere in the night they hooked me up to the breathing machine and I slept good the rest of the night. They said I have a bad case of Sleep apnea. Today for the first time, I woke up fairly rested. Praise The Lord. The Lab Guy said that I will have to sleep with one of those breathing thingies on for a long while.

Also the Docs want to do a "Lexus" test,(I can't see why they couldn't just go ahead and give me the "Mercedes" test".) and some kind of dye test.

Here's more.

Echo.
Carotid Doppler Bilateral.

Everybody should have a carotid ultrasound. Most don't get one till they stroke out.

I was supposed to have a follow up appointment next Friday to discuss the results of the sleep test, but today the Doc's secretary said the Doctor wants to see me first thing tomorrow morning.

UPDATE. Evidently I stop breathing 84 times per hour. The Lady Neurologist says that I have severe Sleep Apnea and that I need to be put on one of those Bypap machines at night. Evidently I have been this way for a long time. I don't know how this connects with the episode back in August when I was in the Hospital though. Hopefully I will finally be able to get some sleep.

Not trying to be a smart ass. Our older dog to me seems to stop breathing for awhile in his sleep and then breathing eventually resumes. This is fairly often by the way.

At times I have wondered if breathing would ever resume but know now it always does. He has been like this for years.

So you sleep like our dog or vice versa. I know it is not breed specific in these particular cases.

The bypap machine took a little getting use to, and fir the first time in no telling how many years, I actually slept through the night. I went through the whole day today without falling asleep, something I haven't done in many years. Our male pug did his inspection and I guess he approves of the setup. Every is well in clkman land.
