Son of Aztek?

Hideous. Saw one a couple of days ago. The guy driving it looked embarrassed.

In 1976 or so I attended a party to introduce the Rolls-Royce Carmague to interested individuals in the Texas area. Some attendees were not impressed with the styling.

The response from the Factory was, "If you like it at first sight it is already out of date." Or some words to that effect.

I am not artistic enough to know if this is true. I do remember losing interest after learning no convertible would be factory available.

If this doesn't make you love the new Corvette, nothing will:

The new C7 is amazing. I still can't beleive GM can put that much technology into a $60k car. GM uses magnesium to mount the interior panels and the floor pan is epoxy bonded carbon fiber to the aluminum frame rails.

I can't wait for the new ZR1 its going to make some very expensive European metal and carbon fiber...cry.

If you option out the current C6 correctly it stickers for about $93k and is made mostly of carbon fiber, with carbon brakes, etc. It's also good for a 7.22 around the ring...

The old fiberglass jokes don't really work anymore because...their really isn't any.

Lets see, lots of GM products on that list.

13. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Z07 Package 7:22.68 ($93K brand new BTW)
20. Ferrari Enzo 7:25.21

The Glacious wrapper is like looking DOWN AT THE EYES of a prehistoric dinosaur thats about to pounce on you then fly off with the remains.Mean ,quick and unforgiving to those that cross its path. The hood layout is especially nice ,a piece of art.

I think its quite good looking honestly.

A departure from the current style, and a breakaway from the traditional twin round brake lights, but its not bad. Looks aggressive and fast

I think the problem with the Aztek was that it was styled oddly for the sake of being styled oddly. No one thinks of odd styling when they are composing their list of what they want in their new SUV.

The new Corvette is styled for what it is, and almost every line appears to placed where and when for a reason.

The segments are different, and the new Corvette will meet and likely exceed the needs of its' customers.
