Shot the Hi Power today!

This is my favorite pistol, and every time I shoot it, I like it more!

Belgian made, not a knock off Browning Hi Power. Very, very easy to shoot and the most accurate pistol I own. At 60 yards you can hit paper and golf balls if you want.

Lots of knock offs were made, some of them were not so good. I got the chance to buy this example a few years ago from my favorite gun store. I wanted one, but a Belgian made Browning not a South American knock off. He had a brand new Belgian gun, and I'm so glad I bought it!

Oh an I'm saving up to add to my collection. I think this pistol needs no introductions.

I've got the FN Hi Power P35. Fun one to shoot. I picked it up for $300 a few years ago.

Mine's old and worn and still fun to shoot. They are handsome guns. I shoot my Sigs more often in 9mm though.

There was a nice German occupation one in Cabelas a few months back. I would dearly have loved to have picked it up but it was in the region of a grand. I'd love to have a German one and an allied one from the same year.

I have a Browning Hi-Power .40 which I bought new almost 20 years ago. Such a comfortable gun to hold and shoot. Not bad for a design from the 1930's...

You need to go classic and get a set of checkered wooden grips!

It's 5 minutes drive from my office. Fatal! Like having your dealer living next door to you

Mines a Mark II that I bought in 85'. Don't have large hands so the medium sized Hi-Power frame is perfect for me. My favorite pistol.

That was one of the best pistols you could get during the war. Must have belonged to someone in an SS unit or pretty important.

They made a few occupation 1911's, those are valuable if you ever run across one. Although I suspect many are fakes!

Mine is an hour away which helps!

They had a Sako TRG42 in .338 Lapua magnum last time I was up their, looked new. Problem is their is no where in CT that I could take that beast out past 1k yards.

Plus it needed glass so it would have been a $5k setup...

I was wandering around Cabelas after work a few hours ago and realized that there were no less than 9 guns I really would like to walk out with right there an then. Ranging from some very old MN91/30's and a M48 thru a bunch of Walther P38's and a Luger P08, a Polish Radom P35 and a CZ75. But of course the nearly five thousand dollars needed for this little lot escapes me at present, so I had to return home frustrated
