The law is the law Larry.

And YOU are "the decider"? Correct me if I am wrong but I thought you believe in the court system to decide disputes? If so, are you coming out with the idea that your failure to argue your case or inability to win the case is meaningful?

And where did I say that the court will not decide? I SAID,
FROM WHAT IVE READ, he has not broken the law. If he broke the law find a tree a rope and call me. I'll personally slap the horse on the ass.

Pretty sure not paying taxes is against the law.

So, Mister Bundy is the equivalent to the founding fathers in your view? Sorry, I didn't notice if your comment was dripping in Botnst sarcasm or not.

I'm pretty sure grazing rent free by refusing to pay isn't legal.

That's not the way I read it. There's something about the land belonging to the state while the Feds were trying to. Left or some type of gray are like that.

Well, your sources are mistaken. At the adoption of the Nevada constitution, all "rights" to remaining undistributed public lands were ceded to the feds, and the state could NOT tax them.

Bundy owns by fee simple title little or no land. Any claims his family had "permission" from someone to graze prior to statehood were lost when the Nevada constitution was ratified. He has been illegally grazing federal lands and refusing to reduce his herds as ordered. He's a scofflaw and a welfare mooch. I'm surprised at your change of heart regarding those who disregard the law Larry. Maybe it's his hat that tugs at your heart strings? I wear one of those too.

"Third. That the people inhabiting said territory do agree and declare, that they forever disclaim all right and title to the unappropriated public lands lying within said territory, and that the same shall be and remain at the sole and entire disposition of the United States; and that lands belonging to citizens of the United States, residing without the said state, shall never be taxed higher than the land belonging to the residents thereof; and that no taxes shall be imposed by said state on lands or property therein belonging to, or which may hereafter be purchased by, the United States, unless otherwise provided by the congress of the United States." Ordinance, Nevada Constitution - Ballotpedia

Do you or do you not agree to use the court as an arbiter of the dispute? It is that simple. If you, as David had pointed out say you believe in using the channels then either he did or he did not. If he did fine. If not, well, the answer to that is petty clear.

The situation is more complex than that. They will settle it in court. Meanwhile the federal Gestapo evidently murdered 130 of the guys cows. What did the cows do to anyone?

It appears that once they began making a connection of this whole mess with Harry Reid the federales backed off pretty fast.

It appears that there is more to this than someone not paying grazing fees to the federales for state owned land. it seems that the federales might be wanting go run them off to use the land for some fat cats wind farm or other development.

Some investigator needs to follow the money. There's more behind this than meets the eye.

As I said before, if the guys flagrantly broken the law, get a rope, but this needs to be looked into further. There's govt connected hanky panky somewhere. A brother in law is being positioned for something.

It's not state land. No matter how much you and Cliven want it to be. Read the quote I posted from the Nevada constitution, you little constitutionalist you.
