Our dog has something for used Kleenex tissues. Given an opportunity he will grab one and rip it up. The dog has no taste in my opinion.
I will not let him read this thread though as conceivably he might start on toilet tissue as well. It may just be something that has not crossed his mind yet and I would hate to encourage him.:D Seriously though you could mount the roll holder higher as a solution. Just making sure nobody leaves the toilet tissue drooping down low enough for the dog to grab it. Or purchase one of those typical dispensors of postage stamp sized toilet tissues you have to struggle to get one out of in old commercial establishments restrooms. |

How about not letting the dog in the bathroom?

Actually a fair percentage of the world occupants do not use toilet paper. It just is not sanitary enough in hot climates. I try not to shake hands with members of those cultures.:D
You could start gradually with say toilet paper free Tuesdays. Kind of your own seven step withdrawl program. No more sitting there making an occasional executive decision yourself if there is enough paper left on the roll to attempt using it as well. If the cardboard is not quite visable do you take a chance? Fully cognizant of the fact you are only going to get a half assed job or worse at best. The empty rolls in the waste baskets never having any paper left on them possibly indicates this decision is thrust upon many at times. |
