Boston, You Did It!

Boston drivers are the worst in the nation, says Allstate - Fortune

The world is back on its axis. New data shows that Boston drivers are the worst in the nation. That news comes a day after other research found that Massachusetts wasn’t even among the 10 worst states for drivers, a finding that surprised many people familiar with the state’s aggressive driving pattern. Here in the commonwealth, after all, “using your blinkah” is behaviorally if not legally, optional.

I find fault with their methodology. It really only looks at accidents and fails to account for traffic density. I haven't driven in Boston, so I can't comment on it, but they gave LA a low rating, and I'd rather drive there than most other places I've driven.

Bad drivers don't always cause accidents. Obviously they didn't spend much time in Houston.

When driving in Maine I notice the cars with Massachusetts plates tended to get on with their lives - whereas many of the Maine ones seemed to experience time at a much slower rate than the rest of the people on the planet...

...compared with Dutch traffic Boston is a doddle - **** you guys should see the Antwerp ring - these days it is a multi-national disaster with loads of "foreign" trucks deciding or not deciding with effing lane to stay in or change to at the last minute...
