I can't count the number of times we had people come to the law firm looking depressed because they had realized they had blown their case BY TALKING TO THE COPS. One lawyer I worked for used to say, "Husky, do you know the difference between talking to the police and NOT talking to the police?" Answer: "About 20".

People call the cops to their home only to have the cops plant drugs on the premises and then arrest them.

Anyway you slice and dice it, dealing with the cops on ANY level can only go one way, bad for you and your family.

The main thing is, percentage wise, a thing you're unable or unwilling to accept, unless you're doing bad things you have nothing to fear .

Yes, I've been braced by crooked cops and other crooked civil servants, I didn't whine nor cry like you do endlessly, I dealt with it in the manner necessary at that particular moment ~ I choose to enjoy life, you don't .

I imagine you have more $ and a nicer place to live than I but you're unwilling to accept that you have more than most people in the world do .

In the end I feel sorry for you as you have a choice but choose poorly .

I wish I could count the number of clients who came dragging into the law firms who hadn't done anything wrong in terms of the 'law'. Their crime? Opening their big traps and yapping like a chihuahua on steroids to the PO-LICE.

I imagine it's happened but nothing in my experience leads me to think that it's anything other than really, really rare. You refer to it as if it's commonplace.
