Ive had a 1979 BMW airhead ("R65") in front of my house for the last 5 or 7 years. Its been 'alone and palely loitering' under a cover, waiting for me to not have kids or something (my oldest just turned 14...). Used to belong to my father

That bike is not in the garage, in pieces, and I'm pricing parts ($500+ for everything it needs to be 'safe'

...I may actually ride again someday soon...

I'm not sure I want to spend $500 on parts, but I think Im seeing motorcycle/scooter prices rise, and I could def. get $1000 for a running airhead, so even if I dont love this bike (I dont, its old/slow) its probably a good investment. Or the 14 year old can learn on it
