Rinse, wash, repeat, then repeat again.

UPDATE

notice the police detective had been fired twice before for use of excessive force, then Owasso police department hired him back for a third try. Guess it takes three strikes before you are out. To me, the real story here is if you have pets do your best to keep them in your sight at all times.

It was a righteous shoot - they found a revolver with paw prints next to the dog...

HA! HA! HA! Of course if a K9 police dog tears your leg off after wandering onto your property, you best not do anything to their dog.

No idea about this dog, but St. Bernards can be scary as hell. The only two dogs that ever really scared the crap out of me were a St. Bernard and a bull mastiff. Both times they had that low growl in their throat like they were about to go ballistic.

Either one could’ve killed me if that was on their agenda.

I totally agree that any dog can be scary. That said, if attacked at my home I'll simply turn the garden hose on them. 99% of the time water from a garden hose will make them turn tail and run.

My dog has run out the front door of the house twice. Fortunately, both times I got him back. I'm now super super careful. I now have a pet gate that separates one part of the house from the garage door area. I then go out the garage door instead of using the front door to the house.

Dogs can be fun, however their owners still need to watch them closely and for god's sake, keep them leashed when out for a walk.

On another note, I'm a baby boomer who grew up in the midwest and raised by my parents. They taught me midwestern ideals, protocols, civility, decorum and spirituality.

I was speaking with another native midwesterner a few days ago who owns and operates a retail store. She shared she can always tell when an import from outside the area walks into her store. She told me that unlike the natives, the imports scare the H out of her and make her want to keep a loaded gun behind the counter.

Civility, decorum, protocols, etiquette, table manners etc are dead. If you are a pet owner, you best keep your animals in your own home and in your own fenced area. why? Because your neighbors are mean as H. They do not think in terms of "doing right by their neighbors" instead they think in terms of "screwing their neighbors".

The words civility, decorum, protocols, etiquette and table manners have been struck from the dictionary. Welcome to a world where people are living on the edge.
