I am watching a documentary about him on Disney+. It's very cool. When ever someone asks that question of who would you want ro meet if given the chance, his name.is always near the top.of my list...just to say thanks for a memorable childhood. Nearly every movie I can think of that I loved, has his music.

I have seen him conduct twice. Once in Tucson back in the 90s conducting the Tucson symphony and a few years ago we saw him in the Hollywood Bowl. Both were memorable experiences that I will always cherish.

Everyone knows him from his masterpieces. But he broke into the film biz like so many others: His first work was for Roger Coreman.

And even then his music was so great you can't believe you are watching a Coreman movie.
