W126 Front End Growns While Turn'g Wheel

My 1989 300SE has developed a grown which occurs only when turning the steering wheel in either direction. Should I assume this is the Rack and Pinion? If so, I remember I had to replace this on an 85 Audi 5000S I owned and it wasn't a cheap repair!

PLEASE HELP!

check your power steering fluid level. It may be low.

It will be an incorrect assumption seeing as how this car does not have rack and pinion. I would look at the upper/lower ball joints and the track rod mounts to start. How many miles? It is not a bad diy'er type of job but it will eat up a half a Saturday.

I'm sure it's your power steering fluid.

Your car has what's called recirculating ball.
