What about the 112 and 113? They're supposed to be about the same engine aren't they? Did the 272 get a different pattern? Could you just bolt up a C/SLK350 6-speed to a V8?

I'm fairly certain it's been documented and confirmed on this site in the past.

If am to stick to automatic there isnt one better than the 4 speed i have on my 300. Has already done over 230000 miles me heavy heavy abuse with no rebuild. Amazing box this one, just have it well serviced on time and adjusted for firm sifts and it will live to all kind of abuse. But i still think ill go for the dog leg 5 speed manual once this dies on me. Havent made my mind yet

I'm about to be a guinea pig for this. I hope it all adds up! I just dropped the equivalent of ~$2.5k on one of these 6sp boxes to fit to a M104 engine and transplant into a stripped out 190E..........

Not sure yet. Might end up with a custom alloy job for light weight.

i think i posted on this site about my building of a custom single mass lightweight flywheel for the m104, go all steel, not alloy,
(edit: i just searched for it and found it and posted it back to the top)

i also went for a full face solid kevlar clutch disc.
so my setup is solid the whole way thru, but i would recomend a sprung clutch disc,
are you getting the clutch with the gearbox? it would help alot

when switching from auto to manual i think you should go for another diff too...3.67?
you will be going from 4 to 5 gangs so i think you will need this.
I am also interrested getting a 5 speed manual on my later-on boosted 300E but i will sure face the problem...finding one! But ill sure copy jayrash result too
