i have a really ugly red and i just h8 it with the chrome grill , and i have seen the black w124's with the painted GRILLE and i was wondering HOW U got them and if they make red ones, how much , how to install them do u have to change the hood or the headlights? ect. plz help me out also , for bumpers for w124 if you guys have any sites for cool cheap bumpers for 300e 86. thanks

I painted mine with black paint...

Powder coating is much more durable though.

over the CHROME 2??? or plastic inserts

Powder coating rocks!!! I cannot get enough of the stuff! you can coat directly over the chrome but the powder coating will be a little stronger if you rough it up with some steel wool first. As for the plastic grille itself..... Good luck! i cannot keep the paint on for more than a month! I am on my third grille now.
