in the early 90's AMG put the brembo calipers from the e500 on the 190e. does anyone know if these parts are available? and any problems with this switch. I have both 190e 16v spindles and 190/8v spindles

You will need at least 16" wheels to clear the calipers but I somehow think you have at least that already. If not, then you will need at least 16"ers.
I've heard of 400E brakes on 190E's before with very impressive results. We'll let you know on the 500E calipers/rotors (just fronts?) as soon as possible. You could probably buy a similar Brembo setup aftermarket if PartsShop can't find the aluminum 500E hardware. I'll keep you posted as soon as I find out anything. Hope this helps...Lee |
