The boots are old but not cracked. I can slide the axle in and out about 1/2 an inch from the differential to the hub. is that normal? I tried to move the right axle and there was no play at all....

I pulled the whole monovalve out and put it in my friends ultrasonic cleaner, she uses it to clean her jewelry. I put it back in and I have not had the problem, Yet!
