check out the starter had the same problem on my 300sel I would hit the key and nothing had to have the starter rebuilt

for the left or right and epc star tek shows a little thing called (screening plate) it doesn't look like much of a heat...

the relay that is missing i think is called mas and it has a knob on top to lock it in place and in the footwell it is the alarm contol missing
the car will not start with out that relay i can take...

vacuum nor the modulator control the trans to make it engage they
only control shifting. a bad pump or a valve body can do what you are talking about

Look at the front of the motor the thermostat goes in to the water pump
housing it has three 10mm bolt's in the housing and the top rad. hose connect to it also good luck!

I am pretty sure that trans has a drain plug in the converter you don't have to pull the trans to get to this plug there is a hole in the bell housing
at the bottom it is there so you can get to...
