Have you driven it yet? When/how does it "slip" - from neut. into 1st - at take-off - from 1st to 2nd?? Could ba a B-2 piston issue, a fairly easy fix. Good luck.

I'm doing a semi-hijack here. My ing. switch has failed in the start/crank position - it turns & locks just fine, so I am assuming that it is the switch & not the tumbler assy that has gone south....

Just did the B-2 piston and K-1 spring kit in my 84 300D. Trans now shifts great, but I get a drivline "klunk" - only when comming to a stop and the trans shifts down into 1st. No other shift issues...
