There is a change to the oil pressure, it takes longer to rise it's just that the change is only noticed cold. Also the engine makes a new noise which is often a sign of inadequate oil pressure.

IIRC, taillights in trunk on left side on the seam/flange of the inner wheel wheel. Instrument cluster - behind the cluster. Both cases look for brown wires. Been decades I may be thinking of a W123.

Start the car cold and see which line gets warm first, that should be the inbound line to the cooler from the transmission. On a warm engine the cooler line would be the return to the transmission....
