I have a 96 E320 and the check engine light came on while driving, the engine was shaking so I pulled over and stop the engine. I started again and engine was fine tho the check engine light is on...

My 96 E320 signal lever is loose, I noticed that the plastic cover that clips to the steering column is out of place. Putting it back and taping the cover to the column helps but still needs fixing....

The last few weeks my new 2008 E350 warning lights comes on, took it to the dealer twice and couldn't find the problem. Sometimes brake lights comes on too, could it be an alternator issue?
