Yup...cleaned it and check light came on and off...

I had the same code, changed the MAS/AMM and viola.

Boots i'm talking about sit underneath the coil....

Mercedes made the newer throttle actuater a 'all in one' piece. Even without ASR they left the part that controls the ASR on it.

It might fit but are the specs the same?

I also had a leakiy cat. Seem slike my problem was that the seams were busting out and the air was leaking at the weld seams. Lucky for me emissions warranty covered the problem.

My M104 C36 had the same problem as you described it it was the boot ends under the coil pack that was the problem. they are like $10 each.

Hi again,

Well, i'm almost giving up on my 1997 C36 but I give it a shot before I sell her.

On cold starts, the car takes a few turns to start and when it does, the idles gos to like 1200 rpm...

BTW, the car runs fine after it's warmed up. At a stop light it shakes on and off.

Now I have ot find out what that whirring noise is when I accelerate.
