We ordered ours and had it built in the Fall of 2000
We ordered our S430 and had it built just the way we wanted it. I am disappointed in the rust protection, but it still runs good at 205,000 miles and is THE go to car for traveling around the...

The 380 SL is fun to drive, but not the best running car I own. I hear a slight valve tick too.

I had good luck running two sets of Michelin MXV4's on my 1987 300e at 40 p.s.i. Firm ride, good handling, good wear. This above the recommended pressure, but I liked it.
