I need to get rid of the 240D Auto I’ve had for the past few years. It starts and drives fine up to 45 mph after that has a shimmy. Has a new battery. I put in new Bilsten shocks a couple years ago....

I am a bit unsure what the stacking sequence is for the Bilstein shock. I think it's as shown. Rubber spring, metal cup with washer, rubber bumper flat side up, and rubber cover. Does this look right?

OK. I got it back together and the car shaking vibration at 45-50 mph is gone. I noticed one of the bolts on the front flex disc had the center section of threads worn away so that's not a good sign....

One question on the washers for the flex discs. It looks like they always go on the disc side, not flange side. So 3 are under the heads of the bolts and 3 are under the nuts. Is that correct?
