I have Cox Cable for my ISP. I've had it for 4-5 years and have to say it's been very good. What do you have?

I have the Fios I mentioned earlier. Had Cox for a couple of years and it was fine. You get more speed with Fios at a comparable rate.

You did mention that before. What is it? Is that the name of the company. I've never heard it mentioned anywhere else.

It's a new service offered by Verizon. Just google verizon fios. It's pure fiber optic to your house. Most of Fairfax is covered. They also offer digital TV for $39.95 per month which is about half of the cost of cable.

Do yoou know if Verizon offers that service in Arlington? I hav a friend there who needs to get connected. DSL isn't available in her building, and she doesn't want to get cable.
