How long is too long?

I placed an order to a vendor in NY for some swaybars for my W210 back on the 16th of September at which time I was told that they should be here in about three weeks.

I have sent e-mails on the 29th and today, politely requesting an update on the status of the order. I also left a voicemail message requesting the same information.

My question is: How long should I give this vendor to respond? It has been several days since the first e-mail, and I'm beginning to get concerned as I plan on rebuilding the suspension next week.

Am I being unreasonable in expecting some sort of response or an order update? Or am I simply being neurotic as rebuild time draws closer?
