Start 'n stumble 380SL

This '83 SL with 145K miles fires up with enthusiasm and runs very smooth. After about 1 minute the RPMs begin to modulate, and it will stall if I'm not right there on the gas pedal. This gets gradually worse until something reaches a critical temperature (about 3 minutes), then it smoothes out instantly. I should change all injectors at this mileage, but wonder if this particular problem is a leaky cold start injector. Any ideas?
Thanks.
