I have not looked into it much, but am looking for a starting point.
My 1981 380 SL had a hard start problem when cold, then it would idle low and run poorly when cold. Once warm it ran fine. One morning it just wouldn't start. It is getting spark to the plugs, it smells like gas after trying to start it so I belive the fuel pump is still working. The coil has a resistance of 0.6 ohms across the terminals (I don't know what the resistance should be). Also the plugs seem pretty fouled. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks, Pete |
