Driver side window will not roll up

Hey folks, this old 85 300SD is really getting on my nerves! After the long summer saga of failures the NEW not rebuilt A/C compressor has been placed in service. BUT now the driver window will not function. Not even a hint of noise like the motor trying to operate. Have not found any loose ground wires yet. Any and all ideas welcome, and yes selling it is my #1 Option! and is in the Houston Chronicle!
