Hi everyone. A couple of weeks ago I posted about a whistle coming from my front brakes (88 300E) and then the ABS would engage at low speeds (below 20 MPH) when the brakes were warm (rush hour, etc.).
Well, the dealer said it was the ABS sensors ($850 parts and labor!!!!) but that it wasn't necessary for me to replace them now since it was so expensive and it didn't happen all the time. Now sometimes when starting from a stop and turning left the left brakes seem to stay applied and the car seems to drag the left wheel against its will. What's going on? Thanks for the replies. |
