a friend gave me this bosch reman alternator & said it was 80 amp. The back has the 2 bolts for connecting, but there are no amp markings or part #s other than the bosch label, & search says the 80 amp model is called the al66x. Before I install it I would appreciate if someone could please confirm the amp rating for this al165x and that it is suitable for my car (1988 300ce). Thanks.
