speed sensor?

Ok, I think that I can get away with just replacing the speed sensor, but now I'm coming across another problem. My local mercedes dealer is telling me that the speed sensor is listed as a R12 part only. Being that my system is converted to 134a, is this going to be a problem or is there a sensor that is for 134a?
