I'm screwed.....

I have an 86 2.3 16v with a crappy motor. I have close to no compression in two cylinders and really low compression in another. I want to rebuild it, but i have no idea where to even start looking for parts. i did find bekkers.com but they only had the head and the weren't specific to if it were an 8 valve or a 16. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx
swerve

Sorry to hear about your poor 16V. I would try giving Pat at PGA Auto a call. Also, depending where you are, I know of a 16V parts car in LA. I think the engine is in decent shape.

16v

before you condemn the engine, is it possible that the valves are too tight? they are adjustable using shims of varying thickness and may be too tight. i had one at my shop with the same problem, the valves were too tight, try a leak down test and see if it is valves that are leaking, if so remove or loosen the cams and see if the cylinders that are lowest are better. i would not recommend the valve adjust or the cam removal as a do it yourself, it can be very involved.
