So the engine doesn’t turn. Any sounds at all? Lights on dash, headlight, radio ok?

I just checked cylinder compression for 124's, it ranges from
(in psi)-------new/min.
M103---------188/152
M104---------210/174
M119.974-----210/174
M119.975-----217/181
Diesel's-------465/260

----------------------------- ?

also have this

from: MERCEDES-BENZ E-Class Owner's Bible 1986-1995

Problem M103 engine? (is not your engine but is all I have access to)
Does not start.

Possible cause, suggested repair
a. Ignition control module malfunction.
Install Siemens ignition control module.

b. Formed hose between idle speed air valve
and air guide housing fallen off due to backfire. (?)
Test air flow potentiometer position.
Check rest position of air sensor.
Center air flow sensor plate.
Check rubber hose between idle speed valve
and air guide housing for tight fit.
Replace if worn or swollen.

sorry I don't know more about your car.

Check back. Someone much more knowledgeable might chime in over the next 24 hours.

Good luck.
