Can anyone tell me if the frame (rails??) on a 300SD run all the way from front to rear? Or is the 126 chassis totally unibody?

Totaly unibody. The rails you see are welded to the underbody. This is a really rigid design. Once when I had the front on jack stands, I jacked up the left rear and the right rear came up with it. Talk about Stiff!

I know mine does the same thing, jack up one corner and the other one comes along. I jacked up the corner of my moms Olds and I couldn't get the door open!
