fuel distributor help

I may need a replacement fuel distributor for a 1988 420sel. My dealer wants approx. $1900 for a bosch, fastlane wants $2300. I was looking at a catalog of Adsit Co. They want $629 for a Python brand fuel distributor. Has anyone had experience with this brand? All help is appreciated.

I would check junkyards nationwide they tend to be good for life+. I would also get a second opinion. There are a lot less expensive things around it that could go than the distributor. Sounds like someone is trying to make a boat payment this month over at the stealership. A good indie should be able to track it down.
Or, if you have symptoms to post and can do a little multi-meter testing there are people here to guide you.
Either way good luck.

Python's are fine fuel distributors. Keep in mind that they don't come with the E.H.A. valve. You should be able to find them for a lot less than $629.00 though.
