Question AC trouble on CLK430

New member here. Was turned onto this board by a fellow CLK430 owner. looks like a great place. After using the search for a day or 2, I determined that the EC light staying on meant my AC had an issue (figured this out on my own ) My car is a 2000, BTW. It's hard for me to tell if it's blowing cold or not, because it hasnt gotten much over 30^ lately by me. Previous posts showed me me how to access the diag menu in the climate control.
These readings are with the motor still pretty cool (drove for 1.5 miles) and 28^ outside. Here's what I found:

1 - 54
2 - 39
3 - 93
4 - 95
5 - 38
6 - 133
7 - 0
8 - 36
9 - 0
10 - 3.1

What does each of these #'s mean? I couldn't find a point by point list in any of my searching....Any ideas where i may need to start? Or what refrigerant my car uses? R134?

Thanks ahead of time.....

Cool

Those are exact readings the the A/C system are receiving fron each sensor!!
#1 is in-car temp
#2 is the outside temp
#3 is the left heater core temp
#4 is the rt heater core temp
#5 is the a/c evaporator temp
#6 is the engine coolant temp
#7 is the a/c ststem pressure (this is your problem)!! must be at least 3 for the system to turn on!!
#8 is the refrigerant temp

Most of the other readings don't have affect on the a/c compressor operation!

Thanks MB Doc.......exactly what i was looking for. My friend is an HVAC tech and always has refrigerants on his truck. Maybe I'll get a chance to try to charge it up this weekend to see whether i have a leak or not.

Thanks again.

Yes, the system has a built in protection for the compressor to not turn on the compressor if there is no refrigerant. The climate control shows operating pressure in bars. I find on my car it is in the 8-16 range when operating properly and the system running.
