Check for vacuum leaks, especially the idle control valve hoses (they should be soft). A big leak there will cause stalling due to lack of fuel at closed throttle since the air isn't going through the meter flap.
You must clean the idle control valve until the solvent come out clean -- this takes a while. If it stalls while running instead of ONLY when coming to a stop, replace the fuel pump relay. Peter
