SLK230 Lost Power, Part II
I posted this yesterday and have a few more questions. (Thanks to everyone that replied yesterday)
Thread from 2/5/2004 "I have an 2000 SLK230 with 57000 miles. While I was driving, my "Engine Check Light" came on and my engine power decreased. I live about 100 miles away from an authorized dealer, so just taking it to the dealer is kinda hard." I did what everyone that replied suggested. I couldn't find any parts store that had a loaner Scanner/Reader, so I bought one. Here's the codes that the scanner retrevied. 1) P1235 - Fuel Air Meter 2) P1236 - Fuel Pump Control Out of Ramge 3) P1420 - Catalyst Temp Sensor 4) P1525 - Idle Control Here's my question; could the Fuel Air Meter cause all of these different sensor to send a code. Thanks, Carl carllittlejohn@cox.net |
