Injectors need cleaning
I have a 300E and the engine idles a little rough, compression good, new plugs, rotor and cap, no vaccuum leaks so I suspect the injectors need cleaning, I was going to replace fuel filter and remove and clean injectors and wanted to ask if anyone knew the correct procedure on doing this and what kind of solution to soak and clean the injectors in, for aircraft engines I have used gun barrel cleaner but this is a Mercedes not a Cessna

The proper way of doing this is to have them ultrasonically cleaned & flow-tested.
Look through the Yellow Pages for somebody that does this type of work. ![]()
