I am not entirely familiar with removing the door panel from that model, but it should not be too hard. If you can hear the window motor running you have something that has come loose or broken inside the door. When you remove the door panel, disconnect your battery, that will ensure that you don't blow the airbag. Do not re-connect the battery until you have it completly re-assembled or this will fault your SRS system. Also make sure you have your radio code so you can get your tunes back after you re-connect the battery. MB usually puts screws behind the door pockets, near the closing latch, and behind the door handle. Look for screws in those places, remove them and then start at the bottom of the door on the right side and pop it loose, work it free and at the same time do it easily keeping in mind there could be more screws hidden in there. When you find the screws remove them, there are white snaps or clips used too, those just pop out using a large flat blade screw driver. Take your time, make sure you have nothing planned for the whole day, not even a date at 9pm! ha ha.. because that will add stress and cause you to get flustered! Once you get the door panel off, I bet you there is a plastic pin in there that has snapped or broken in the window regulator, you can get a new one at your dealer. I would recommend you taking Friday off work and doing it then, give you saturday to go and buy the part at the dealer if you need it. Good luck! If you don't have confidence find another MBCA member locally and they will be glad to help!
Good luck!

Fixed
Hi,
I finally fixed my frint windows, There was the big arm with the gear.............this is made in 2 peced welded togetehr with 4 little point of welding...........aftre 6 years the welding point where borken and the 2 surface were sliding ..... So I did not get a goog MIG to weld and i preferred to drill , tap 4 holes with M4 tread and after i put 4 good screw. the proble is solved and the arm is stronger that before. Many thanks Guy Sorry but i do not have the possibility to send you pictures for the moment. Alberto |
